Rodrigo Kochenburger is a creative and passionate developer who has been working with bleeding edge technology and building applications since 1999. He is a brazilian citizen living in Porto Alegre, Brazil and is pursuing a bachelors degree in Computer Science from Pontifícia Universidade Católica (PUC-RS), to be received in 2009. Having a comprehensive understanding and experience on different technology areas, such as web-development, operating systems, compilers, artificial intelligence and others, he loves a good challenge and have fun developing interesting and smart solutions.

Open Source lover and contributer, he is deeply involved in the Ruby and Rails community and didn’t contribute only with code. He is one of the heads behind the RailsRumble, a world wide RubyOnRails competition that takes place over the internet, contributing to the technology dissemination. Rodrigo has been using Ruby since January 2002 and Rails since November 2004, a few months after the first public release. Ever since he has been specializing and working mostly with Ruby and Rails and using his knowledge to create superb web applications.
